Gangway & PPE WatchProof of concept
People in vehicle zones and missing PPE — flagged as it happens.
The cameras the plant already has watch the forklift lanes, gangways and PPE zones. A person stepping into a vehicle lane, or working without helmet or vest where the zone requires them, is flagged to the area in-charge with the picture, and the event is recorded with the time it took to clear — on the same escalation path as the hydrant watch.
What it does for you
- Virtual zones for forklift lanes and gangways
- Helmet and vest checks in PPE zones
- Alert with the picture, escalation level by level
- Events by zone, shift and time to clear
- Runs on existing IP cameras
- Same GPU machine as the hydrant watch
What it connects to
- Existing IP cameras
- A GPU machine on the plant network
- WhatsApp for escalation
What it measures
- Events by zone
- Time to clear
- PPE compliance by zone
- Escalations per week
How it works
Draw the zonesForklift lanes, gangways and PPE zones are drawn once on each camera view.
WatchThe camera sees a person in a vehicle zone, or without helmet or vest in a PPE zone, and marks the frame.
AlertThe area in-charge gets the picture at once; it escalates level by level, up to WhatsApp, until acknowledged.
RecordEvery event is kept with zone, time and time to clear, for the safety review.
Needed in your plant
- Cameras — The IP cameras the plant already has on the lanes and gangways; more only where a zone is not covered.
- A GPU machine — One GPU PC on the plant network — shared with the hydrant watch.
- In the plant — The MOS plant server and WhatsApp for escalation.
